91 Colorado Whiskey has come together with Marianne Eaves as part of her exclusive 2021 Eaves Blind series a collection of one-of-a-kind whiskey collabs between Eaves and select non-Kentucky distillery partners. Eaves, Kentuckys first female master distiller, lent her palate to 291 for the 291 E Eaves release, one of eight curated single source blended bourbons in the Eaves Blind program. Eaves Blind not only teaches nuances of tasting bourbon and the process of making it, but also highlights the fact that great bourbon can be made anywhere, not just in Kentucky.

Mariannes palate has consistently delivered award-winning whiskey throughout her career, said 291 Owner and Founding Distiller Michael Myers. The Eaves 291 E release is still 291 but just with her balance on it.
For the inaugural release, Eaves spent weeks with 291 team sampling their Colorado bourbon which is finished with Aspen staves. From there she married her ideal version of 291 Colorado whiskey the end result was the special 291 E Eaves Release, a 129.6 proof bourbon whiskey with a smokey sweet grain and oak, floral and fruit essence. This release carries subtle green vegetal notes balanced by sweetness and dark spice.
Blending is as much of an art as is distillation, said Eaves. I want people to taste this release and know this is Colorado whiskey. This is 291.
