The 2022 Domaine A.F. Its palate is rich and layered, with velvety tannins and a powerful, yet balanced structure. This wines concentrated flavors of black fruit and earth are complemented by a remarkably long and elegant finish.
From the legendary Richebourg vineyard, one of Burgundy’s most sought-after sites, this Grand Cru Pinot Noir encapsulates the depth and intensity of its terroir. The 2022 vintage benefitted from optimal ripening conditions, enhancing the wines concentration and finesse. Aged in French oak, the wine gains further complexity without overshadowing the inherent character of the vineyard. This exceptional bottling promises to evolve gracefully with cellaring, developing even greater complexity over time.

The 2022 Richebourg Grand Cru is another new cuve added to the Domaine’s portfolio due to the end of Colette Gros’s lease agreement. This parcel is located in the lieu-dit of Les Vrroilles, where there was originally a wall, parts of which remain. This 0.41-hectares is sandwiched between rows owned by A.F. Gros and Gros Frre & Soeur. Aged entirely in new oak, the refined bouquet gradually builds in the glass: mainly dark berry fruit, forest floor, hints of morels and light graphite aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins. This is a more elegant take on Richebourg. It is harmonious with a satin texture, a peacock’s tail towards the finish, and a dash of white pepper on the aftertaste. This marks a very impressive debut.
