Auchentoshan is one of the few remaining Scottish distilleries to triple-distil all its production a process more associated with Irish whiskey. The triple distillation removes more of the heavier aromatic compounds and produces a lighter, smoother spirit with the characteristic citrus, vanilla, and fresh floral notes that define the Lowland style.
