Aviation’s flavored expressions build on the distillery’s American gin recipe lavender, cardamom, coriander, anise, sarsaparilla, juniper, and citrus rather than starting from a neutral spirit base as many flavored gins do. The cranberry contributes bold tart berry character; the blood orange adds the distinct bitter citrus brightness of blood orange versus standard orange, with deeper red fruit notes and more complexity than regular orange flavoring.
