Fusion Series #1. Bardstown Bourbon Company the founding release in Bardstown Bourbon Company’s Fusion series, blending the distillery’s own young production with aged sourced Kentucky bourbon in a format that directly documents the distillery’s maturation trajectory.
The Fusion concept is BBC’s most transparent product: each release blends a portion of the distillery’s own-produced bourbon (young, vibrant, grain-forward) with a portion of sourced aged Kentucky bourbon (older, more developed oak and fruit character). As the own-distilled component ages over time, subsequent Fusion batches progressively increase the ratio of own-distilled to sourced, documenting the distillery’s development in real time.
Fusion Series #1 is the founding expression the baseline against which all subsequent Fusion releases document BBC’s progression from an NDP-heavy operation toward a fully own-distilled distillery.
