Bodegas La Horra was founded by Bodegas RODA and brothers Pedro and Pablo Balbs in April 2009. Located in the town of La Horra, the 20-hectare estate is surrounded by pine forests south of Monte de Villalobn. This is only the second vintage of Corimbo 1 produced by Bodegas La Horra. It is made from Goblet- trained Tempranillo vines that are more than 50 years old in La Horra. Cultivated organically without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides for synthetic products, the perfectly ripened grapes are aged for 16 months on French and American oak. The result is a polished, full-bodied beauty displaying a mlange of red and black fruits with great intensity and purity.
It shows an elegance in the mouth with a perfect balance between acidity and tannin, with mineral and herbal notes typical of this unique terroir. Very long and elegant after taste.
