Booker Noe Jim Beams grandson and master distiller from 1965 to 2003 created Bookers in 1988 as the first commercially available uncut, unfiltered cask strength Kentucky straight bourbon. Every bottle of Bookers that exists traces its existence to Booker Noes founding philosophy: bottle it straight from the barrel, at natural proof, with nothing removed and nothing added.
A First Release Brown Wax Bookers with Booker Noes personal signature is three layers of rarity in one bottle: the founding era pre-named-batch format, the original presentation, and the authentication of the man whose name and legacy the entire program carries. Booker Noe passed away in February 2004, making surviving signed bottles finite and non-renewable.
