Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak offers a palate rich with sherry-soaked fruits, chocolate, and baking spices. The maturation in sherry casks beautifully balances rich, fruity, and umami flavours with Bowmore’s distinctive coastal style.
Bowmore, an iconic distillery on the shore of Loch Indaal, is renowned for its peated single malts and mid-range smoky style, with around 30 ppm of peat. A significant portion of its whisky is matured in the distillerys No.1 Vaults, which boasts an ideal microclimate for long-term aging. After changing ownership multiple times, Bowmore was acquired by Stanley P. Morrison in 1963, leading to the creation of some of its most legendary whiskies, including the highly sought-after Black Bowmore. In 1994, Suntory (now Beam Suntory) took full control of the distillery.
