Casa Maestri’s mezcal is made from Espadn agave grown in the small mountain villages of Oaxaca. Following a centuries-old process, the magueyes are harvested and cooked the traditional way in earthen pits, giving the mezcal its signature smoky character, then distilled twice in small copper stills for a rich, complex spirit.
Smoke, earth, and a gentle sweetness, with the fruit and floral character of Espadn leading rather than bitterness.
