Maison Castarde, founded in 1832, is the oldest Armagnac trading house in the world. Blanche d’Armagnac shares the name, grape varieties, and Gascony origin of its aged cousin, but skips barrel aging entirely producing a cleaner, clearer spirit. Smoother and rounder than most eaux-de-vie yet still potent, it is richer and warmer than vodka and notably versatile behind the bar.
