Taittinger is one of the few remaining family-owned and operated Champagne houses, distinguished by extensive estate vineyard holdings of 752 acres including prestigious Grand Cru sites in the Cte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The house relies primarily on estate-grown grapes and uses a higher proportion of Chardonnay than other large houses the signature Taittinger style. Aging well exceeds the legal minimum, a long-standing Taittinger hallmark.
