Chandon ages its brandy in Limousin oak for nine years, using a mixture of old barrels formerly employed by cognac producers, and newer barrels. Nine years in this oak allows for the subtle extraction of tannins and vanilla-imparting rich, supple aromas, flavors and mouthfeel- the hallmarks of quality handcrafted brandy.
