Charles Heidsieck Brut Blanc des Millnaires is the prestige Blanc de Blancs cuve of Charles Heidsieck a shimmering golden Champagne with delicate effervescence, elegant lemon and apple blossom notes balanced by salty butter, almonds, and toasted crme anglaise, and a perfectly structured mineral palate with a long, well-rounded finish.
In 1851, young Charles Heidsieck founded his own Champagne house in Reims and traversed the United States promoting the brand earning him the nickname Champagne Charlie. The house is distinguished by 40% reserve wines averaging 10 years old in the Brut Rserve, giving uncommon depth and complexity. Only 60 crus from Champagne are blended for Charles Heidsieck cuves, with three stylistic pillars: Grand Cru Chardonnay from Oger in the Cte des Blancs, Grand Cru Pinot Noir from Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims, and distinctive Pinot Meunier from Verneuil in the Valle de la Marne.
