A blend of malt and grain whiskies, each aged a minimum of 12 years, built around a core of Strathisla single malt from the Highland distillery that has supplied Chivas since 1786.

Chivas Regal pioneered the concept of luxury blended Scotch whisky when James and John Chivas began selling it from their Aberdeen grocery and wine merchant shop in the 19th century. The 12 Year Old is the house style at its most accessible: smooth, rounded, and fruit-forward, with the rich dried fruit character from sherry cask maturation balanced by lighter grain whisky.
