Vellichor is a poetic expression from the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows that strange wistfulness of wandering through a second-hand bookshop, surrounded by stories you will never read. In creating Vellichor, Glaser sought to recreate this fragrance using Scotch whisky: exceptional casks from the north of Scotland where whiskies had been blended and matured in ex-Sherry butts, combined with bold mature malt contributions from some of Scotlands most celebrated distilleries.
