Anne Gros’ Chambolle Orveaux vokser meget langt tilbage i Combe, midtergangen mellem Vosne og Chambolle. Der er ogs en 1er Cru-del af omrdet lngere fremme, hvor det er varmere. Men her er vi i den kligste del af denne vinmark, s det er altid den sidste Pinot Noir, der hstes hos Anne Gros, selv efter Hautes-Ctes de Nuits. Helt afstilket og spontangret i rustfri stltanke, derefter lagret i ca. 18 mneder i hovedsageligt brugte barriques. Nsen er klig og stenet under den strlende rde frugt, mrke skyggefulde hjertekirsebr, efterrsblade og vulkansk sten p nsen. Et vidunderligt spor af syre lber gennem denne vin, nsten marmorerende, sde surkirsebr, alt spiller sammen. Violer, rosenblade. Intet grnt, intet skarpt, alt flyder og sprller. Hvis du kan lide maksimal finesse og lethed i Pinot Noir, fr du noget for pengene her. Dette er en dansende sknhed.

The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny la Combe d’Orveaux, which comes from a parcel surrounded by woodland, has a light bouquet with brambly red fruit and wild hedgerow, perhaps needing a little more fruit concentration like the 2022. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded tannins on the entry. Lightly spiced, a dash of black pepper toward the finish, this is an understated Chambolle with a sense of coolness about it.
