A symbol of exacting standards and purity, Champagne Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Millsime 2016 embodies the soul of Champagne’s great terroirs. Produced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, this exceptional vintage combines the nobility of Pinot Noir (70%) with the elegance of Chardonnay (30%).
Its intense golden color promises great maturity and captivating aromatic depth. The nose reveals a rich, nuanced palette of stewed yellow fruit, toasted almond, brioche and smoky notes, delicately underscored by the chalky signature of Ambonnay’s great terroirs. On the palate, the ample, enveloping texture is balanced by vibrant tension and remarkable saline minerality. The ultra-low dosage (1 g/L) magnifies the purity of the fruit and reinforces the intensity of this racy, precise Extra Brut Champagne.
