Two barrels filled on the same day, 23 years apart in the glass, presenting two individual barrel trajectories from a single day of pre-fire Heaven Hill production.

The April 27, 1990 distillation date places both Barrel #114 and Barrel #146 in the same production run filled on the same day from the same Heaven Hill still output. Over 23 years, each barrel developed differently based on rickhouse position, temperature cycling, and individual barrel characteristics. The result: two barrels with identical origin dates but different individual characters.

All Heaven Hill production from the original Bardstown facility is pre-fire the November 7, 1996 disaster destroyed the still house 6 years after this barrel was filled. Production from the original facility is a finite, closed set.
