The combination captures the flavor profile of a classic American apple pie in a liqueur-strength spirit without artificial flavoring.
Firefly was one of the first modern craft distilleries to popularize flavored moonshine-style spirits. The apple pie expression uses actual pressed apple juice as the base flavor component alongside the corn-based moonshine spirit, producing a more authentic fruit character than artificial apple flavoring typically achieves. At 30% ABV it works as a shot, over ice, or mixed into cider-based cocktails.
