Gran Centenario Cristalino Aejo is the crystal-clear expression from one of Mexico’s most decorated highland tequila distilleries 100% Blue Weber agave produced through the signature Seleccion Suave process and charcoal-filtered to remove the amber color from the aejo aging while retaining the smooth, complex character the process develops.
The Seleccion Suave process unique to Gran Centenario blends a percentage of extra-aged Aejo into each expression before bottling, adding depth and smoothness that standard-aged aejo production cannot achieve. The Cristalino is the same Seleccion Suave aejo production charcoal-filtered to crystal clarity. The filtration removes the amber color and some of the heavier wood compounds while retaining the vanilla, caramel, and agave complexity. The standard Aejo is richer and more oak-forward; the Cristalino is smoother, lighter, and more agave-forward in a crystal-clear presentation.
