Justin Cabernet Sauvignon is a Bordeaux-styled Cabernet from Paso Robles, built on the region’s limestone-rich soils and warm climate. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted by the berry, and the wine spends more than a year in small oak barrels to build depth and complexity.
Paso Robles gives this Cabernet its ripe, generous fruit and structured backbone, a classic California expression of the variety with Old World influence.
Appearance: Dark purple-ruby core with a lighter rim.
Aroma: Ripe black and red cherry, blackcurrant and berry fruit, baking spice, sweet tobacco, licorice, oak, and cocoa.
Palate: Dry and nearly full-bodied, with ripe black cherry, cassis, and red fruit alongside baking spice and oak. The finish is fresh and moderately long, with lingering cherry and berry, oak, and barrel spice supported by fine, balanced tannins.
Pairs well with grilled and roasted red meats, lamb, and aged cheeses. Serve at cool room temperature.
