Kloa Kauai Coffee Rum is a collaboration between Kloa Rum Company and Kauai Coffee Company twice-distilled from pure Hawaiian cane sugar in a vintage 1,210-gallon steam-powered copper pot still, infused with locally grown Kauai coffee, and bottled at 34% ABV, where the lower proof level allows the complex flavours of the locally grown Hawaiian coffee to express themselves with far greater nuance and clarity.

Kloa Rum Company was founded in 2009 as the first licensed rum distillery on Kauai the island where Hawaiis commercial sugar industry was born in 1835. The Coffee Rum brings together two of Kauais most important agricultural products: sugarcane and coffee from one of the largest single-estate coffee producers in the United States. The filtered rainwater from Mount Waialele and the volcanic-grown coffee from Kauais hills produce a rum that opens as a well-crafted espresso, transitions through dry vanilla and chocolate, and delivers hazelnut and stone fruit on the finish.
