Vosne-Romane is a region home to great terroirs where some of the best wines in the world come from. For the production of Domaine de L’Arlot Vosne-Romane 1st Cru Les Suchots wine, the bunches are obtained from a small plot with vines planted in 1950 located in Les Suchots, an area greatly affected by millerandage, a situation which means the bunches dont develop in a balanced way, affecting the size and quantity of the grapes, which is welcome for producers looking for excellent quality in their wines.

This wine is so translucent and pure, with vivid aromas of cherries, blood oranges, potpourri, cured meat and autumn leaves. The palate is seamless, with fine-grained tannins and a silken palate that delivers power with a high level of refinement and polish. A wonderful example of this famed premier cru. Drink or hold.
94 Vinous
The 2023 Vosne-Romane Les Suchots 1er Cru has a floral bouquet, with wilted rose petals infusing the vivacious red cherry/crushed strawberry fruit and just a touch of incense. Very poised, the palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannins. It is slightly ferrous toward the finish that lingers nicely. This is not a powerful Vosne-Romane, but it will drink well for 12 to 15 years. Very fine.
