Los Vecinos del Campo Espadn Mezcal is an artisanal Oaxacan mezcal made from locally grown, hand-harvested agave slow-roasted underground for a sultry, smoky sweetness, then crushed by stone Molino, naturally fermented in wooden vats, and double-distilled in a copper pot still.
Los Vecinos del Campo follows the traditional Espadn production path end to end: the agave hearts are slow-roasted in an underground pit the source of the mezcal’s signature smoke and sweetness then the pias are crushed using a stone Molino, naturally fermented in wooden vats, and double-distilled in a copper pot still. The result is a smooth, smoky, and authentically artisanal mezcal.
It is best enjoyed neat and sipped slowly, or as the base of a smoky agave cocktail.
