Normally when a vendor comes in with a new vodka, we talk to them briefly, taste the vodka, and carry on, because frankly most of them taste the same- and they’re pretty much supposed to.
When Jan-Roman Potocki came to visit us in 2017 we already knew this would be different. He has a passion for vodka thats unmatched and doesn’t repeat the “my vodka is 100 times distilled and filtered through diamonds” lines. It’s actually distilled only twice and not charcoal filtered, and the quality is also unmatched. This is probably the best vodka on the market and is the main ingredient in the best martini ever- the DUKES Bar London Martini.

The bouquet is subtle and alluring, with distant notes of buttered popcorn and escarole broth; aeration stimulates aromas of peanut butter, rye toast and damp cobblestone. Silky palate entry is slightly sweet, concentrated and grainy; at midpalate, the flavor turns drier, lightly spiced and almost fruity (as in dried fruit). Aftertaste is long and spicy.
