The Zucca familys Galleria bar, opened in 1867 at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II entrance opposite the Duomo, remains open today and is one of Milans oldest and most celebrated amari and coffee institutions. Rabarbaro Zucca is traditionally served equal parts with soda water on crushed ice, or with tonic on ice, making it an ideal aperitif.
