Cask Type: Matured at Midleton & finished in Sicilian Marsala Casks
Nose: Tobacco leaves, prunes, raisins, and raw cocoa.
Palate: Fresh and vivid fruit notes of apricot and peach, mingling with dark plum and blackcurrant.
Finish: Long and elegant with soft tannins and a fresh, herbal character.
Brand History: The Red Spot story began on Dublin’s Grafton Street in the late 1800s. Wine merchants Mitchell & Son used a daub of paint to mark their casks destined for the Bow Street Distillery, indicating how long the whiskey within would be aged. This bottle represents the pinnacle of that historic tradition.
