Rhum Clment Crole Shrubb Liquur dOrange is a blend of white and aged Agricole Rhums from Martinique macerated with sun-dried bitter orange peels and Crole spices. The result is a distinctly Caribbean orange liqueur at 40% ABV more complex and aromatic than standard triple sec or Cointreau, with the vegetal, grassy character of Agricole rum underlying the orange.
Rhum Agricole is produced from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses, giving it a character distinct from most rum herbaceous, grassy, and mineral. In Crole Shrubb, this agricultural character combines with bitter orange and Crole spices to produce a liqueur that works well in Ti Punch, Rum Punch, and as a triple sec alternative in Margaritas or Sidecar variations.
