Rmy Martin uses only grapes from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus the chalk-flecked soils at the heart of the Cognac region. Fine Champagne Cognac, blended exclusively from these two crus, is the only such blend protected by the Appellation dOrigine Contrle. The Alliance Fine Champagne between growers, distillers, and Rmy Martin dates to 1965.
