Sugarlands Dark Chocolate Coffee Cream Liqueur is the Gatlinburg distillery’s most sophisticated sippin’ cream a Tennessee moonshine-based cream liqueur combining medium roast coffee, rough-cut dark chocolate, and the warm aromatics of brown sugar and toffee in a creamy, velvety texture that has made it one of Sugarlands’ best-selling expressions since its 2016 debut.
The combination of dark chocolate and coffee is a natural one both share roasty, bitter, and complex flavor profiles that create depth when combined. Sugarlands uses medium roast coffee for balanced richness without harsh bitterness, and genuine rough-cut dark chocolate for the intense cocoa character that milk chocolate can’t achieve. The brown sugar and toffee aromatics soften the bitterness and add warmth. At 20% ABV, it works neat after dinner, over ice, or as the base of mocha cocktails.
