Our Master Distiller Alex Chasko is renowned for his innovative cask selection when it comes to Irish Whiskey, creating expression of true character. This single cask was hand selected for our excellent partners in California. The whiskey was matured in Ex-Bourbon casks and then finished in a single Ex-PX Sherry Wine cask for a total of fourteen years, before being decanted from cask number 29595. Limited to 282 bottles, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 56.4% ABV, this is truly Irish Whiskey to savor.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Apples, roasted nuts, red fruits and rum raisin
Taste: Dark chlorate, dried fruits and stewed pears.
Finish: A long dry finish with burnt sugar.
