Crafted through the unlikely mix of zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, petite sirah, syrah and charbono, this California red wine features enticing aromas of bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove and roasted fig. Those scents give way to persistent tastes of raspberry, boysenberry and pomegranate with a lingering vanilla flavor. Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels, the full flavors of this Napa Valley wine make it a great match for grilled and barbecued meats, especially if you throw sweet or tomato-based sauce on top.
