Part of the legendary Van Winkle family of bourbons produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, Lot B has been described by some as “nectar.” The 12 years of aging and medium proof are balanced to create an outrageously smooth, decadent whiskey. The Van Winkle bourbons pay homage to Julian “Pappy” Van Winkle, who built a reputation in the bourbon industry that was second to none; since 2002 they have been produced at Buffalo Trace using the family’s wheated recipe.
