The IGP Red Vermouth of Turin Vecchia Scuola was created exactly as tradition dictates, using only Piedmontese wine and herbs typical of the Savoy regionplants that have grown, and still flourish, in the countryside around Turin and on the hills of Pancalieri. A perfect balance of gentle wormwood, Roman wormwood, cinchona, and bitter orange, harmonized with flowers, aromatic herbs, and sweet spices, all left to slowly macerate in a cold infusion. The “marriage” between the wine and this complex aromatic extract is a long process, carefully monitored until the blend is ready for final bottling. Vecchia Scuola Vermouth brings back to enthusiasts the forgotten flavors of an authentic, traditional vermouthperfect as an aperitif, a digestif, or as the key ingredient in timeless cocktail classics like the Negroni or Americano.
