Founded in 2004, at a time when there were only a few dozen craft distilleries in the country, the Westward distillery didnt have much competition when it came to making craft whiskies. But even 20 years later, when the country has overflown with craft Spirits, the Westward Way still stands out. Westward Original Single Malt Whiskey is an exceptional whisky, a winner of the Gold Medal in the San Francisco World Spirits competition. Representing the American Northwest, this whiskey was crafted from locally sourced malted barley and aged in new, heavily toasted, and lightly charred American oak barrels in Oregon, where the summers are hot and the winters wet and freezing cold, providing perfect weather conditions to make one exceptional American Single Malts. Distilled like a single malt and aged like a bourbon, this dreamy and decadent spirit was bottled at an ABV of 45%.
