Made from a blend of organic, fully ripe espadin and madrecuixe agaves that are naturally processed and double distilled in direct fire copper pot stills. Yola Jimenez is the distiller and her grandfather set up the Mezcal operation in 1971. Yola employs only woman in their bottling facility and are committed to the sustainable growing and harvest of Agave. And the it tastes great too. Made in the classic Mezcal village of San Juan Del Rio using traditional methods and a blend of Espadin AND Madre-Cuixe! Here the smoke is present but well integrated allowing the citrus, herbaceous even floral quality of the agave to shine.
