Compass Box Whisky Co. was founded by John Glaser in London in 2000 and is celebrated for innovative blending and transparency. The Extinct Blends Quartet follows the first Ultramarine release with a second time-capsule expression Metropolis. The series recreates the production methods and blending philosophies of specific eras in Scottish blended Scotch history, using pre-blended stocks and rare components to achieve the eras characteristic profile.
