Ole Smoky was established in 2010 in Gatlinburg as Tennessee’s first licensed distillery. The Salty Caramel Whiskey takes the distillery’s Tennessee whiskey base and applies the classic sweet-and-salty caramel combination the 60-proof bottling keeping the approachable sweetness without excess heat.
Works well over ice neat, in a Salty Caramel Old Fashioned (reduce the simple syrup), in hot coffee or hot chocolate, or layered on vanilla ice cream as a dessert spirit. The salt and caramel combination pairs naturally with chocolate and coffee flavours.
